UGo Mobility Third-Party Rental Policy
At UGo Mobility, we understand that friends, family members, and certain professionals may need to assist others by renting mobility equipment on their behalf. We are happy to accommodate these requests under the following conditions:
- Authorized Representatives:
- Immediate family members, close relatives, trusted friends, travel agents, and hotel staff are permitted to rent mobility equipment on behalf of the intended user. The authorized representative must provide the necessary information about the intended user, including their specific mobility needs.
- The authorized representative will be responsible for ensuring that the equipment is used appropriately and returned in good condition, except for travel agents and hotel staff, who are exempt from this responsibility.
- Prohibited Rentals and Subleasing:
- UGo Mobility does not permit brokers, third-party agents (other than approved travel agents or hotel staff), or any individuals acting on behalf of customers for commercial purposes to rent our equipment. Additionally, subleasing of the rented equipment is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this clause will result in the immediate cancellation of the rental agreement and a $500 fine imposed on the responsible party.
- Identification and Verification:
- All representatives renting on behalf of another person must provide valid identification and contact information. UGo Mobility reserves the right to verify the relationship between the representative and the intended user to ensure compliance with this policy.
- Liability and Responsibility:
- The person renting on behalf of the user assumes full responsibility for the equipment, including any damage, loss, or misuse. They also agree to our standard terms and conditions. This clause does not apply to travel agents and hotel staff, who are exempt from liability in these cases.
- Policy Enforcement:
- UGo Mobility reserves the right to refuse service or rental to any individual or entity found violating this policy. Failure to comply with these terms may result in legal action, including fines and penalties.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining the integrity of our services. Our goal is to ensure that our mobility equipment is used responsibly and by those who truly need it.
