About UGo Mobility Wheelchair and Mobility Scooter Rentals
UGo Mobility was built on Hugh's commitment to make a difference in the lives of people with mobility issues
"My Mother Made Me Do It"
UGo Mobility was built on Hugh’s commitment to make a difference in the lives of individuals with mobility issues. He was inspired through his experience with his active and vibrant mother, Linda, who lost her leg in her 40’s.
Hugh has first hand knowledge of how having a power wheelchair, mobility scooter, or the proper medical equipment, can change the quality of someone’s life. It was Linda’s power wheelchair that gave her the freedom and independence she needed to continue to live every day to the fullest.
Hugh’s Dad, Bill used to say, “We’re all living longer, but our parts still wear out.” After his double hip replacement and knee surgery, this proud Navy engineer decided to use a scooter to keep up with his wife, Linda. What a joy to see them scooting around together experiencing what life has to offer.
Hugh’s emotional connection to UGo Mobility has only grown deeper over the years due to the direct positive impact he has had in helping so many people, and families, with mobility issues. Our goal is to inform, inspire and empower our customers to do & see more, and we take that goal very seriously.
Don’t be surprised if every so often you see Hugh looking up with a smile on his face & a sparkle in his eyes. It’s just him thinking,
“Hey Mom, LOOK! We’re Doing it
